Julian Gough is the author of several novels (most recently Connect), the Rabbit & Bear children's books (illustrated by the brilliant Jim Field), and the ending to the most successful computer game of all time, Minecraft. His books have won a number of awards, in a variety of countries, and are published in 37 languages.

He recently put the ending to Minecraft (often known as the End Poem) into the public domain, through a Creative Commons licence, allowing anyone to use it or rework it in their art, music, writing, or otherwise. He is currently writing (online, in public) a non-fiction book, called The Egg and the Rock, about the Darwinian evolution of universes, at theeggandtherock.com

Top Goal

Finish the first three chapters, and a synopsis, so my agent can sell the book. (Sub-goals: Guest on a couple of high-quality, relevant podcasts, to get the ideas circulating more widely. Write as much of the book as possible. Get more scientists involved.)
